The International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) of Erie

bulletConcerned about avoiding a cesarean?
bulletHave you had a cesarean, and now have mixed feelings?
bulletAre you looking for a local cesarean support group?
bulletAre you a woman who has had a vaginal delivery, but want to support other women, or are just interesting in promoting awareness?

ICAN of Erie is Western Pennsylvania's only chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network.  Committed to educating and informing women in ways to reduce the risk of cesarean and providing support to women after a cesarean, you will find education and support at monthly ICAN meetings.  ICAN is not just for women who have experienced a cesarean.  It is for any woman that wants to be informed, regardless of the reason.  We have a wide demographic... women who have had only vaginal births at home or in the hospital, women who have never been pregnant, doulas and childbirth educators, women who have had cesareans, and women hoping to avoid one.  Please come to share or to just listen.

Please join us at the next ICAN of Erie meeting.  Meetings are free and open to the public; donations appreciated.  Babies and small children welcome.

Date: 2nd Wednesday of Each Month

Time: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Where: Admiral Room at the Blasco Library.  MAPQUEST MAP.
